Effective Date: January 6, 20261. AgreementBy installing or using Clean Union – Customer Deduplication & Data Hygiene, you (“Merchant”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the application.2. Description of ServicesClean Union provides tools that help Shopify merchants analyze customer and household records, surface potential duplicates, display similarity confidence scores, and perform data hygiene actions initiated directly by the Merchant.The app is a decision-support platform. Spectral Data Labs does not make or execute decisions on behalf of the Merchant.3. Merchant ResponsibilityAll actions performed through the application—including:• merging customer accounts• deleting or tagging records• excluding pairs from results—are initiated and confirmed by the Merchant.The Merchant is solely responsible for reviewing selections before proceeding with permanent merges or deletions inside Shopify.4. Permanence of Data ActionsCustomer merges and deletions performed through Shopify APIs are permanent and may not be undone.Spectral Data Labs is not liable for:• accidental merges• incorrect staff useor outcomes of Merchant-approved actions5. Data ProcessingClean Union accesses and processes Shopify customer data externally only as necessary to provide the services described.Spectral Data Labs agrees to act as a processor and to handle Merchant data in accordance with the Privacy Policy incorporated by reference.6. Billing & PaymentsIf Clean Union is offered on a paid subscription basis:Fees are charged through Shopify’s Billing APITrials, pricing tiers, and charges are clearly disclosed on the app listingUninstalling the application stops future billingRefunds are subject to Shopify billing rules and any plan terms stated in the listing.7. Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, Spectral Data Labs provides the application “as is” without warranties beyond those expressly stated.Spectral Data Labs is not responsible for:• indirect revenue changes• third-party service disruptions• Shopify platform outagesor data issues caused by Merchant misuse8. TerminationSpectral Data Labs may suspend or terminate access to the application if the Merchant violates these Terms or engages in fraudulent or abusive behavior.9. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Spectral Data Labs operates.10. ChangesSpectral Data Labs may update these Terms at any time.
